Wednesday

Luke and I are really getting into a good routine! He's consistently napping for about an hour in the morning, then about two hours in the afternoon. Add he's very precise - 10:00am for his morning nap then 12:30 for the afternoon! It's really nice for me, since I know that I'll have those times....assuming he continues with this routine!

So today I napped with Luke in the morning, then was able to get some things done while he slept in the afternoon. Later in the afternoon we headed out to Target to pick up a few things and enjoy the air conditioning. Unfortunately Drew now has the cold that I had last week, so we had a quiet evening at home.

Home Sweet Home

Well, we had a fantastic time on vacation, but all good things must come to an end :)

We got back home on Saturday evening around 9:30, and were so happy to be able to sleep in our own bed! We had a lazy day on Sunday, as it was Drew's last day off before returning to work on Monday.

So Luke and I are back to hanging out together at home. It's been odd for these first couple of days, as there are no longer lots of people around! Now that vacation is over, my goal is to get Luke into a good routine as far as getting up in the morning, taking naps, and going to bed at the same time every night. While we were away, he slept a LOT, but I think that's mostly due to sun, sand, being outside, etc.

I mentioned in an earlier post that Luke has discovered his arms and hands. Well, he has also realized that he can stick his hands in his mouth! So now he is constantly sucking on his fist, which results in a lot of slobber.....
