We spent most of today at Marmee and Grampy's house, then went to Freeze and Frizz with Matt and Katie for dinner.

I have a few pictures from Thursday that I forgot to upload! The first few were at home on Thursday afternoon, and the last two are from Thursday night dinner with Mum, Phil, and Audrie.

A Royal Afternoon

Today Luke and I had the pleasure of spending the afternoon with Mum! We went over for lunch, then watched the Royal Wedding together. (Mum had taped it this morning) I'm not sure about Luke, but I really enjoyed it! It was so nice to see all the "Britishness" and pageantry. Really made me feel proud to be from England! (and really made me want to take another trip to London!)

Luke did a great job while we were there - he spent most of the afternoon on Mum's lap, either gazing into her eyes or fast asleep. It was a really nice way to spend my last day of maternity leave together :)

Catching Up

I'm not sure where this week went! I'm sad to think these are my last few days at home with Luke before heading back to work on Monday. *sigh*

So.....Tuesday we were out and about. I had my followup appointment in the afternoon, so Drew came home and picked us up, then we headed to the doctor's together. After that Luke and I went back to work with Drew for a few more hours. From there, we went straight over to Marmee and Grampy's house for dinner, then Drew did some work outside while Luke and I watched the Biggest Loser.

Somehow all three of us ended up with colds, so on Wednesday I decided that Luke and I needed a quiet day at home. With Easter over the weekend, we had been pretty busy every day, and it had been a while since we'd just stayed home. So we hung out together at home, and I was able to catch up on laundry. After work Drew was able to mow the lawn and eat dinner, then headed over to church for practice (he's playing the drums this Sunday). So Luke and I also enjoyed a quiet evening at home.

I'm amazed at how snug this outfit is! When he first wore it, it was pretty loose.  Now he's getting too long for it!

Daisy really likes to hang out with Luke when he's on the floor.

And apparently she thinks that he makes a good pillow.....

I really like these next two, so they're extra big! These were taken in Luke's bouncy seat, with the toys attached. When we first got this for him, he didn't care much for the toys or even notice them. But now when I put him in it, he really stares!

Today Luke and I had the pleasure of going to the mall with Katie, as she had off school. We had a lovely time strolling around and drinking some fabulous smoothies! It was especially nice at the mall because it was so hot outside.

This evening Drew was supposed to have a softball game, but it was cancelled because the field was too muddy, so we enjoyed an evening at home. 

Luke is doing great, and is beginning to smile! Drew and I have both had the pleasure of getting smiled at, and Drew even got an accompanying "coo"! I can't wait to see him smile more as he gets older :)
