New toy!
I picked up this ball the other day when I was running errands. Uncle Phil thought he'd show Luke some soccer moves with it!
Saturday at the park
On Saturday Drew was helping out at the Vision Conference, so Luke and I hung out at home. We decided to take a walk down to Flory Park, which is just a few minutes from home. I showed Luke the rest of the playground (besides the swings), but he was much more interested in inspecting the pieces of mulch!
First visit to the park
Last Saturday we were at Marmee and Grampy's house in the afternoon, so we decided to take Luke to the park down the road. He had a great time! He LOVED the swing!

Experiment
So the other night I was making banana bread in the kitchen, so I wanted to have Luke somewhere that I could see him and also continue with my baking. To accomplish this, I opted to put him in his booster seat in the kitchen, and decided to go ahead and feed him dinner at the same time. Being that he's almost a year old, I thought it would be neat to see if he was ready to use a spoon on his own.
As you can see from the pictures, I was gravely mistaken.
