Two New Videos

Playdate!

Today Luke had his first playdate! I have two friends from school, Lacie and Ryan, whose son was born seven weeks after Luke. When we got there, he was still napping, so Luke had a great time playing with all of his toys! Lacie has some really neat stuff - makes me want to go out and buy more toys for Luke!

Once Corlin woke up, we hung out a bit - honestly, I think it was probably more fun for the adults to hang out and talk! It was definitely nice to get out and spend time with another family that's experiencing the same things as our family - hopefully we'll do it again soon!

Tonight was a pretty lazy evening. Luke watched some Netflix with daddy while sucking on Sophie the Giraffe, then we all went to bed.

On Sunday evening we had a nice time at Marmee and Grampy's......

Today we had a peaceful day at home and got a bath!

.....and this evening Luke got to meet Uncle Jon for the first time EVER!

Bumbo Fun!

So, in addition to holding toys and sucking fingers, Luke has discovered his head! Now, when he lies on the floor, his free hand goes straight up to his head! Pretty cool, eh? He is also getting a kick out of sitting in the Bumbo! He really seems to enjoy being upright and getting to see a different view of the world.

Playing with toys and a visit to Grandma's

Today was HOT.

We spent the morning inside where it was cool, then braved the heat to run a few errands this afternoon. Luke also had fun hanging out in his swing - I've been putting him in his swing more often, as he seems to prefer sitting more upright. When I put him in his bouncy chair now, he leans forward in an effort to sit up! So anyway, he was having fun in his swing and playing with some toys. He's all about playing with toys that he can hold and suck on. 

This evening we picked up pizza and went over to Grandma's house. We watched Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, and Wipeout, which was quite funny! Luke enjoyed laying on the floor, watching TV, and cuddling with Grandma.
