OUTER BANKS: Part 1

We had a fantastic time spending the week in the Outer Banks with Drew's family!!

I'm constantly amazed at how quickly Luke is growing and changing! He can now reach for and grasp objects, like toys, fingers, or blankets. He frequently smiles and laughs, and "talks" non-stop! While we did take him to the beach and the pool, he spent most of his vacation sleeping. When he was awake, he did NOT appreciate Drew dipping his feet into the cold water! So.....maybe next year! 

I took a ton of pictures from our trip - however, since it takes forever to upload them, and since this is Life with LUKE, I've decided just to highlight the pictures featuring Luke.

Hangin out at home

 I'm two days into summer vacation, and LOVING spending my time at home with Luke! Here are some shots of him from this afternoon.....

....as you'll see, his new favorite pasttime is sucking on his fist!

Toys & Smiles

For my last day of school, Grandad came over for the morning to babysit Luke, and they had a great time! Luke is beginning to realize that he has arms and legs and that he can do things with them! We've been having fun dangling toys in front of him and seeing him try to hit them with his hands. I can only imagine what he'll be doing a month from now!
